Okay, it's not a million dollar smile, but I did get the last of my dental work done today!! The temporary bridge that I have been wearing for a month is gone and the permanent one is in. I think they make the temporary bridge so uncomfortable and inconvenient that when you get your permanent bridge you are actually grateful to be at the dentist. I seriously couldn't thank him enough as I was leaving his office today.
On my side of the family, we have a little genetic defect that resulted in my sisters and I missing some adult molars. The baby tooth would fall out but their was no permanent tooth to replace it. I should have taken care of this years ago, but it can be a little pricey. Fortunately I did not suffer the more serious effects of missing teeth, but I felt like I was pushing it so I decided to get it done before my jaw bone dissolved and endangered my sinus (gross, but seriously that can happen.)
