Every year the Activity Days girls group at church holds a mother/daughter gingerbread house decorating party. Activity Days is a church groups for girls from 8-11 years old--and since Paige just turned 8 she got to join. She has been pretty excited, especially after watching Ashley go through the program. Even better, our neighbor and Paige's friend, Samantha goes with her.
Here is Paige and her house. She worked on it pretty independently, didn't need too much help from me. I was okay with that because it just gave me more time to eat donuts and taste-test candy!

Very cool idea. I'm not a talented gingerbread house maker. I'm very impressed with Paige.
