Another school year begins! Man my kids are growing up fast. This year marks the beginning of 8th and 3rd grades. Both girls were looking forward to the big day, had their new outfits picked out and were ready to go. We basically spent the week before at a variety of back to school activities and open houses. Ashley volunteered at two different student orientations so she was prepared and already had a her locker organized. Paige also had the chance to stock up her desk with supplies a few days before the official "first day."

I'm happy to report that the first day was a success! Everyone came home happy. I'm not sure that I have quite caught my breath yet, it has just been so busy and hectic lately, but I'm sure a few more quite days home alone will help!
