Honestly, this year the beginning of school was so hectic. I'm writing about it in retrospect and honestly, it is all a little of a blur to me. It was all I could do to stay on top of everything. I'm doing PTA at the elementary school this year so I was involved in lots of back-to-school stuff there on top of everything else. I'm sharing this as an excuse for why our annual Back-to-School Family Dinner was a little lacking in presentation this year.
Actually, the dinner itself was fine--Hawaiian Haystacks, a Paige favorite. Decorations and presentation may have been wanting but the company was good. We had a fun family dinner, followed by a good spiritual message and father's blessings. I think we are ready for a new school year. Here we come 3rd and 8th grades!
