Dave, who always treats me like I the best thing ever, planned a wonderful celebration. We had back-to-back days of fun. On our actual anniversary he and I went out for lunch together and then shared some gourmet cupcakes with the girls later that evening.

The next evening was the real celebration, Dave got tickets to The Second City comedy show. If you don't know what The Second City is, it is the famous Chicago sketch comedy club that has spawned the likes of Tina Fey, Mike Myers, Steve Carrell, etc. We'd never been to a show before so it was a treat for us and it was very funny. Before the show we had dinner at very nice restaurant. We both had delicious prime rib. The dinner was so huge, we didn't even have dessert, but it was okay because we still had some cupcakes left over at home.
This anniversary was all smiles, but then Dave always make me smile :)
