Young Women

At church, I am the president of the Young Women's group.  I have been doing this for about a year.  It keeps me very busy, but we do do lots of great things.  And I get to spend some time with and learn from a really wonderful bunch of girls...including my own daughter Ashley!

Here is just a small sampling of some of the stuff we did in November and December:
1-  Goofing around in class.  How can you not love these girls?!

 2.  Costume Dance - I helped the youth to plan and host a costume party/dance.  It was a big undertaking but fortunately the youth took on most of the work.

3.  Young Women In Excellence - a yearly event to recognize what the young women have accomplished

 

4.  Hand-made Christmas ornaments for decorating Christmas Trees in our church foyers.  These turned out sooo cute!

5.  "Share the Spirit" Christmas Service Project.  We volunteered at a local agency to help distribute Christmas gifts and goods to people in need.  A fabulous opportunity.

6.  Gingerbread house decorating and Christmas Party

7.  Compiling Christmas Care packages for missionaries and military service men and women.
